Started raving back in 1990. Used to go to The Crypt In Brixton to acid house events. Also, used to go every Thursday to Rage at heaven.
Then I got into the hardcore scene. I started djing back then as well and played on a mates radio station (until all the gear got stolen!)
I carried on raving once when the hardcore scene started to merge over to the drum and base/jungle scene. I was going to events like Telepathy, Raindance, Pirate club, Elevation, Tasco warehouse, Roller express.
Then life took over and I hung up my raving shoes.
This passion was reignited when clockwork orange started doing there events again. This was perfect event and vibe for me. With an older crowd who were well up for it.
This is when I decided I need to have a go on some digital decks.
I was immediately blown away with the new technology and what you could do and create with the new tools.
I had found that going back behind the decks was the perfect escapism from reality, and takes you into your own world.
My current favourite genres are a mixture of funky and techy vibes.
I love seeing other people’s reactions and faces when you’re behind the decks. Loving your tunes and vibes.
